“I received a message from a friend in the business. “You have to go to the NFSTI training. It’s amazing.”
My business had been dragging for the past 6-8 months with the moratorium and stimulus, and the banks not releasing assets and my finances were down to the bottom. My level of despair was amazingly low and my business partners knew something was not right with me.
It took me a while to dig up the finances (thank goodness for a friend who works for the airlines and got me a buddy pass), and my Visa helped a lot.
I boarded the plane feeling even more hopeless knowing that I had spent the money for this trip. Another wasted class telling me what I already knew, or so I thought.
When I got to the first class, my skepticism kept nagging me. The kind that sits in the back of your head and tells you… “uh oh” money down the drain, again…” But I sat and listened. After all, I did put out some money!
As the day moved on I found myself involved more and more with the class. The instructors were involving us in the learning process. They held my attention and I started to feel a sense of optimism. “Maybe that Idea would work,” I kept repeating to myself.
When the first day was done, I was on the phone to my business partner, Andy. He told me that he hadn’t seen me with this much energy in months and started listening to his ideas.
I have been home over a week now and Andy and I are working relentlessly to put new systems in place (at minimal cost, of course). We are functioning as a team and seeing some results!
I don’t know any other way of saying this and it may sound cliché, but NFSTI helped me to revitalize my outlook on this business and the information I gained was priceless.
I can never thank the instructors, Richard and Lowell enough and I would highly recommend these classes to anyone in the REO business. If you think you have been in it long enough and don’t need to be taught anything, you are hurting your business. Instead, grow if with the help of NFSTI!
